Gale force W to SW wind of 60-75km/h is expected along the coastal regions between Cape Point and Plettenberg Bay early morning spreading to Cannon Rocks by afternoon.
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Central Karoo.
High seas with wave heights in excess of 6m is expected between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay, subsiding Thursday morning.

Northern Cape: Cloudy to partly and cool to cold with morning rain along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly becoming south-westerly from the afternoon.
Western Cape: Partly cloudy becoming fine over the north eastern parts of the Karoo where it will be windy otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and rain. Morning light rain is expected over the eastern parts of the south coast with isolated evening showers. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly but strong to gale south of Cape Point and along the south coast.
UVB index: Low.
Western half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and cool, but partly cloudy along the coast. Light evening showers are expected over the Tsitsikamma area and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be Strong southwesterly, reaching gale force between Cape St Francis and Cannon Rocks in the afternoon.
Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.
KwaZulu-Natal: Fine and warm but cool in the south-west. it will become partly cloudy in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be Gentle north-westerly south of Mandeni at first, otherwise moderate to fresh northerly to north easterly, becoming southerly to south-westerly south of Durban in the late morning spreading to the north in the afternoon.
