Tomorrow, 15 April 2026, the Democratic Alliance (DA) will launch their mayoral campaign in the Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality when they announce their Mayoral Candidate in Nxuba (formerly known as Cradock).
The Mayoral Candidate will be announced by DA EC Provincial Leader, Andrew Whitfield MP, and DA EC Midlands Constituency Leader, Heinrich Müller MPL.
The candidate is a DA stalwart in Inxuba Yethemba and is a trusted voice in the community, known for fighting to turn the fortunes of this collapsing municipality around.
The Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality has become synonymous with extended water and electricity outages, crumbling infrastructure, corruption, maladministration and economic collapse. It is a true testament of the ANC’s collapse of municipalities across the province.
