Wildlife safari guides are given the fright of their lives – as a territorial elephant charges and rams into their vehicle.
Professional guide Johann Lombard was leading a South African safari when their group encountered a herd of elephants at the Kruger National Park.
Two of the elephants begin to charge towards the vehicle before stopping in their tracks.
But a third, female elephant emerges from the back of the herd and smashes head first into the truck carrying terrified guides.
The group who filmed the charge insisted the elephants had not been provoked and the situation had not been set up in any way.

Johann and his team had taken all necessary precautions before the trip, but the video shows that sometimes animals can act out without any provocation.
