South Africa´s flag carrier South African Airways said that its Vacations unit is targeting parents with a promotion on educational safari packages in South Africa with its air-inclusive Family Safari collection.
According to SAAV, the packages start at USD 3,398 per person and run for eight days.
The firm´s “Best of South Africa” package includes a three-night stay in Cape Town with tours, and a three-night stay at one of four safari lodges, where families can access multiple game drives tracking Africa´s Big 5.
SAA Vacations said that its customisable Family Safari collection also includes packages with a variety of activities, properties and lodges including Jr Tracker and Ranger training programs, exploration of the Cape region´s Garden Route, or the Victoria Falls in Zambia.
The company said its goal is to arrange the perfect vacation for families with varying budgets, resulting in a vacation that achieves a mix of providing children with a vacation that entertains and educates, while pleasing adults as well.
The SAA Vacations family safari packages can be booked at a discount for a limited time, with SAAV´s current fall package sale, offering USD 125 off per person for all packages booked by Oct. 15.
SAA Vacations packages include international and domestic Africa flights on South African Airways.
