In ’70 and 71 I taught Home Economics at what was then Rocklands Girls High.
I’m delighted to see that there will be a Food festival from 20 – 22 March and I intend coming up for the occasion.
Are there any ex-pupils still in the area? Waar is julle? I would love to meet you and catch up on your news. Maybe even have a mini-reunion.
I still need to reserve my accommodation but will be in touch before I arrive. Presumably the festival forms part of your 200 year celebrations.
I haven’t been there in years and look forward to seeing the various changes to the town. It will be a real reminiscing trip.
