She looked as though she was the only girl in the wild.

Rihanna continued to take time out from her Diamonds World Tour on Thursday to post pictures of herself enjoying a safari trip.

In one of the pictures, Rihanna is seen embracing an enormous elephant, with the caption ‘Mama Africa #safari’.

A few days before, Rihanna also posed with a lion cub and baby giraffe while visiting an animal sanctuary in Johannesburg.

Perhaps the pop star was being serious when she admitted earlier this month that she was done with her partying days.

It is certainly a welcome change from seeing the star fall our of clubs in the early hours looking worse for wear.

The SM certainly seems to be enjoying herself and as well as visiting animal sanctuaries posed in baggy trousers as she went driving around on a buggy.

But Rihanna hasn’t totally lost her sense of style.

The pop star posted a picture of her and her friends shark diving in the sea, but wearing a vintage Chanel swimsuit.

In one of her other pictures, Rihanna is standing next to a cheetah, who calmly sits by her side.

She certainly seemed to enjoy the kitty company as she was seen shortly after holding a big cat.

The cheeky singer also spent some time with a giraffe, sticking her tongue out at the gargantuan animal in one image and then letting it eat out of her hands in another.

RiRi is in Africa for her Diamonds World Tour where she is slated to perform in Cape Town, South Africa in a few days.

The busy Barbadian beauty just arrived in the country after playing shows in Australia and New Zealand.

She took a bit of the kiwi culture with her.

A two-minute video of Rihanna getting tattoed using the traditional Maori method of inking surfaced online.

After
her South Africa gig, Rihanna will head to Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv
before performing in the Caribbean and then in the States.

The 2013 leg of her tour ends in November in New Orleans.

When the 25-year-old arrived at
Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport she was
greeted by around 50 fans, as well as her old friend Tazz Msika, who planted a big
kiss on her face.

Not only has he previously been spotted in the company of Rihanna in both her native Barbados and in London, but Tazz also happens to be the grandson of former Zimbabwe vice-president Joseph Msika.

The two seemed to be on very close terms at the airport leading some to speculate that he may figure prominently in Rihanna’s romantic life after her current world tour ends.
