Spokesman Ashraf Ismail said this included the N6 between Jamestown and Aliwal North, and the R61 between Cradock and Graaff Reinet.
A long stretch of the N6 had been closed at the weekend due to snow.
Ismail said no snow had fallen during the night, but there was light rainfall over parts of the country.
He urged motorists to plan their routes according to weather and media reports. If the weather worsened, drivers were urged to pull over at the nearest petrol station or place of safety.
