Two more big-name artists are attending The London Electric Guitar Show at London Olympia on November 10th and 11th – Jennifer Batten and Steve Cradock.
Batten, long-time guitarist for Michael Jackson, will play the Main Stage on Sunday and the Masterclass suite on Saturday, along with platinum-selling artist Richie Kotzen over the weekend.
She was selected from over 100 guitarists to play in Jackson’s band for the Bad tour – playing to over four and a half million people – and again for his Dangerous tour. In 1993, she joined Jackson for Superbowl XXVII’s half time entertainment performance, which aired to 1.5 billion people in 80 nations.
Saturday will also see legendary British guitar player, Steve Cradock – famed for his work with Ocean Colour Scene and Paul Weller – take to the Main Stage. The songwriter has played on all of Paul Weller’s albums to date, and had five Top Ten albums and six Top Ten singles to date with Ocean Colour Scene.
Ben Tovey and Will Homer of Rise to Remain will open up Saturday’s Main Stage in association with Elixir Strings, while British blues star and Rotosound endorsee, Ben Poole, will open up Sunday’s Main Stage.
Yamaha demonstrator, Soren Andersen, will take to the Masterclass suite on Saturday. In this session, visitors can learn about Yamaha’s new Pacifica model, Andersen’s unique sound and the secrets behind the success of THR Amplification.
Attendees will also have access to guitars and gear from leading brands and manufacturers. Recently added to the exhibitor list is national guitar store Guitar Guitar. They join Elixir Strings, Yamaha, Ernie Ball, Go To Guitars, Peavey, Rotosound, Fishman, HiWatt, John Hornby Skewes, GHS Strings and many others over the weekend.
