Montego Pet Nutrition (Montego) has further expanded its executive committee with the appointment of Johann Kotzé as Supply Chain Executive.
Johann was promoted to Supply Chain Executive eight months after joining the company and has been a fantastic resource in leading the acquisition of six distribution facilities during 2022, improving service delivery to customers and contributing to the efficiency of Montego’s fleet management and planning process.
“Montego has experienced significant growth to our supply chain over the last 8 months. Having Johann as part of the executive team will improve feedback on performance of our supply chain and will fast track important decision-making,” says Managing Director of Montego, Johan van Jaarsveld.
With experience in management accounting, operations management, and supply chain management, as well as the fundamentals required to plan and execute projects successfully, Johann will provide the foundations of forming functional teams in various disciplines. He will also work on optimising and standardising Montego’s business processes to achieve fundamental business goals.
“My vision is to have a department made up of engaged team players working together in our areas of expertise”, says Kotzé, “which will allow us to create the most efficient and streamlined supply chain in Africa.”
