Les Bryant had a big day at Cootamundra, his other winner Spicy Lyric (Stewart Cole, 11.00) also a long shot.
Bryant and Ryan combined again at Grenfell to win the Class B Handicap with Armidales Pride.
With the lead from the outset, Armidales Pride (5.00) scored by a length from De Sweet Soca Song (Stewart Cole, 4.60) and Untouchable Smile (Paddy Kelly, 2.00 fav).
Earlier, trainer Kevin White had the first leg of a winning double when On My Own (Ricky Blewitt, 5.00) led all the way to win the Maiden Plate (1000 metres) from Storstrom (Stuart Brown, 5.50) and Goodfa (Alan Burton, 11.00).
Other winners were the Tony Sergi, Queenbeyan trained Alert prince (Ricky Blewitt, 2.10 fav) and Lady Noverre (Tim Phillips, 4.20) trained at Canberra by Neil Osborne.
After taking a break last year, the Grenfell Picnics attracted a big crowd on Saturday.
