Burford School won the West Oxfordshire Under 15 Cup with a 36-10 victory over Chipping Norton at Witney.

But they were denied a double when their under 14 side were beaten 21-19 by Marlborough School in their final.

There was little between the sides at half-time of the under 15 event, Burford holding a 12-10 advantage at the break.

But a superb second-half display saw them run out convincing winners.

Skipper Oli Toner led the way with a brace of tries, with Tom Harvey, Tom Renwick, Matthew Cradock and Reiss Howard also going over.

Howard added three conversions.
