A 14-year-old, male Cradock Middle School student has been charged for allegedly threatening to blow up the school.
He entered a classroom and began questioning a teacher about the whereabouts of other teachers.
The teacher questioned why the student wanted the information and he allegedly made comments and threatened to blow up the school.
The teacher then called the school administration and the school’s resource officer.
The officer presented the case for petition to a Portsmouth Juvenile Intake Officer.
The student was released to his parents pending a hearing.
