A HARTLEPOOL band is set to play Newcastle’s O2 Academy supporting a Britpop guitarist.
The Jar Family have been confirmed as a support act for Steve Cradock, guitarist with Britpop legend Paul Weller and indie favourites Ocean Colour Scene, tomorrow night.
The high-profile support slot comes after the five piece supported Alabama 3 on their UK tour.
It also comes as the band’s first single, Poolie Strut, from their debut album The Jar Family Album, is played before kick off at Pools’ home games.
