WARNINGS: A heat wave with persistently high temperatures continue over West Coast District, Cape Winelands, Cape Metropole, Overberg, Breede River Valley and Karoo areas of the Western Cape and the western and southern parts of the Eastern Cape until Thursday.
Extremely uncomfortable, humid conditions will be experienced in the West Coast District, Cape Winelands, Karoo areas of the Western Cape, the western and southern interior of the Eastern Cape and the western parts of the Northern Cape.

Cloudy becoming partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Expected UVB Index: Dangerous.

MPUMALANGA

Cloudy at first in the east with morning fog on the escaprment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thudershowers but scattered in places in the lowveld.

LIMPOPO

Cloudy at first in the east with morning fog on the escaprment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thudershowers but scattered in places in the lowveld.

NORTHWEST

Partly cloudy and hot with isolated thundershowers.

FREE STATE

Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thundershowers.

NORTHERN CAPE

Warm along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers.

The wind along the coast will be light south westerly.

WESTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and hoe but very hot in places. Isolated thundershowers are expected over the central and eastern areas. It will become cloudy along the south coast during afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly.
Expected UVB Index: Very Dangerous.

EASTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in places over the interior.
Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in places over the northen and western parts.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine to partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the west and the north.

The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly.

Expected UVB index: High.

NAMIBIA

Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the interior but scattered in the north where heavy rain is possible. It will be cool along the coast with moderate south westerly.

BOTSWANA

Partly cloudy and hot but warm in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north and east.

LESOTHO

Partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers.

SWAZILAND

Morning fog patches, otherwise cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Heavy rain is possible in the north.
