Extremely uncomfortable, humid conditions will be experienced over the West Coast District and Cape Winelands. Extremely hot conditions are expected over the West Coast District until Sunday.
A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in the West Coast District and Cape Winelands until Sunday.

GAUTENG

Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Expected UVB Index: Dangerous.

MPUMALANGA

Hot in places in the lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers on the highveld and escarpment.

LIMPOPO

Hot in places in the lowveld and western bushveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the southwest.

NORTHWEST

Partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

FREE STATE

Partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east.

NORTHERN CAPE

Fine and hot, but very hot in Gordonia. It will be cloudy along the coast at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly.

WESTERN CAPE

Fine and warm to hot, but extremely hot in the west. It will be partly cloudy along the south coast at first.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.
Expected UVB Index: Very Dangerous.

EASTERN CAPE

Partly cloudy and warm.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon and evening showers and thundershowers in the west.
